Illinois College is committed to affordability.

Through many academic scholarships, I myself am fortunate enough to receive a couple of them, and throughout my time here, my professors are always willing to send me more scholarships and applications I can do, and I chose to make that investment here at Illinois College.

There's many ways in which Illinois College is committed to student success, and one of those ways is that included in your tuition are your textbooks.

And so you don't have to worry about should I just try to skip having this textbook?

You know you're going to be able to have that textbook because it's already included in your tuition itself.

We help students be able to perform as a well rounded individual who have gone from here to do significant work, and you just don't get that at a large college here at IC, we have a wonderful financial aid office.

They're pretty much here to help you with understanding how to get scholarship money, how to pay for school, and then really everything on the business and financial end of being a student, they're just really ready to help you at every turn.

A breakaway trip is a one to two week experience in a foreign country that allows students to learn about their culture and different subjects within that country.

So we really want to make the breakaway to be an affordable opportunity for them, and we're able to negotiate prices and help them out financially so that they can do that.

We really encourage students to do it.

We think it's a valuable part of their education.

We provide faculty who go along with them and help them navigate that whole process, particularly if they've never traveled overseas before.

I chose to come here because I feel like the campus offered more than just an educational purpose, it rounded me for being able to come out more successful than what like some other colleges offered.

I didn't come here to get an education.

I came here to get a liberal arts education.

I feel like that prepares me more for the world than just general type of degree.
